Accelerated Reader Awards

End of the Year Awards

Kindergarten

Each kindergarten student who submits a reading log will earn a 100 Books Reading Medal.

 

Students who meet AR point goals with an 85% average or higher earn the following incentives:

 

1st Grade - 5th Grade 

  • 50 point – earn a certificate of achievement
  • 75 point – earn a medal 
  • 100 point – earn a medal 
  • 125 point  – earn a medal 
  • 150 points – earn a trophy (Trophies increase in increments of 50 points - up to 300 and 100 points at 400-1000)
  • Top AR Reader in Class earns a trophy
  • Overall Top AR Reader per grade level earns a trophy
  • Top AR Reader Schoolwide earns a trophy
  • STAR Reader earns a certificate of recognition

(Students who improve 1 reading level on the EOY STAR assessment earn a certificate of achievement)

  • STAR Reader earns a medal (students who improve 2 reading levels onthe EOY STAR assessment earn a medal)
  • STAR Reader earns a trophy (students who improve 3 reading levels onthe EOY STAR assessment earn a trophy)
